A NEW fortnightly business breakfast meeting has launched in Tockington.
Independent business group Bristol Breakfast Networking (BBN) is behind the regular networking sessions.
Set up 18 years ago for the benefit of small business owners in the South Gloucestershire and Bristol area, the original group has enjoyed a growth in membership over recent months and has reached capacity at its current home in Ashton Gate Stadium.
The group’s committee has now launched a new regular breakfast meeting at The Manor at Old Down Estate in Tockington.
More than 35 business owners attended the BBN North launch event, a breakfast meeting on Thursday, May 17.
BBN was founded by Chris Holloway, owner of Manor Printing Services in Wotton-under-Edge, and management accountant David Johnson back in 2000.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr Holloway said: “When I started the group with David all those years ago we were looking to offer something different from the normal breakfast networking meetings.
“We’ve made an effort to up the ante during the past three years and it’s really paid off, with growing membership and improved online presence. Old Down Estate is the perfect location for our new group.”
