POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a child was hit by a bicycle in Yate.
The incident took place between 5.20pm and 5.30pm on Station Road on Tuesday, May 8.
A boy was walking along the pavement when a passing bike went over his foot and caused him to fall down.
A cast was needed for his injuries.
The cyclist was a man and is described as black, medium to large build, around 6ft tall and about 18 to 20-years-old.
He was wearing a black coat and the riding a Voodoo brand mountain bike.
