TWO members of staff at Yate Shopping Centre have been promoted to senior management positions.
Lee Walden has been appointed as operations manager and Mike Lowrey has taken over as security manager.
Andrew Lowrey, Yate Shopping Centre manager said: “Both Lee and Mike have extensive day-to-day experience of the centre, having worked here for some years.
"Their knowledge and professionalism will be a valuable asset to future operations and in supporting me.
"Importantly they are already known to many of the shoppers through their previous work, so have an existing rapport with shoppers.”
Formerly security manager, Mr Walden started at the centre as a security officer and has also worked as deputy security manager.
His new role includes responsibility for all security, health and safety and day-to-day operational issues.
Mike Lowrey joined the shopping centre staff as a security officer and has progressed through deputy security manager to security manager.
