EMERGENCY services are working to clear the scene of a lorry fire on the M5, near junction 18.
The incident occured at around 9am and is causing tailbacks on the motorway.
Highways England said: "Traffic has been released on the M5 just prior to the J18 northbound exit slip road for A4 / A403 near Avonmouth and Shirehampton.
"Road users can still exit at this junction, however crews remain at scene.
"Thank you for your patience."
