YATE AC runner Hannah Alderson has been called up by Great Britain to compete in the prestigious European Cross Country Championships in Budapest on Sunday, December 9.

The 20-year-old from Old Sodbury finished sixth in her age group and 23rd overall in a time of 29:36 at the Trials in Liverpool, beating Leigh Lattimore by just one second to claim the final place in the under-23 women’s squad.

Tytherington-based runner Dan Studley finished 38th overall in the men’s race at the McCain Cross Country Challenge and 12th under-23 in a time of 31:29.
