TOBY COLBOURNE hit a hat-trick as Tytherington Rocks continued their fine league form by putting seven past Purton.

Within five minutes the Rocks took the lead when Toby Colbourne headed to Justin Bishop, who slotted the ball through for Jack Smythe to drive into the far corner of the net.

On 30 minutes Bishop again crossed from the right to Colbourne, who shot low into the net to put the Rocks two up.

Tytherington scored their third goal on 57 minutes when a cross from Smythe found Colbourne, who was unmarked and headed into the far corner of the net, giving keeper Lee Wilson no chance.

With Rocks now in complete command goals were coming fast and furious.

On 68 minutes Bishop laid off the ball with a flick of the heel to Joe White, who beat the last defender before slotting the ball into the net for number four.

This was followed four minutes later when Colbourne’s shot from just inside the box beat the keeper low down to complete a well taken hat-trick.

Purton eventually scored on 80 minutes when, from close in, Jonathan Cowley beat Kevin Freeman low down to reduce the deficit.

Rocks soon got back on the goal trail when Bishop again provided the pass to Smythe, who completed his double.

Four minutes later Bishop got his well deserved reward when Alex Chapman crossed for him to score from the edge of the six yard box.
