DEFENDER Shane Anson has left Slimbridge to join Southern League Division One South & West side Cirencester Town.
The right back impressed on his debut in a 0-0 draw at Evesham United on Saturday.
Slimbridge suffered their third consecutive postponement when the pitch at Newbury was declared unfit for their Hellenic League Premier Division clash on Saturday.
Leon Sterling’s side remain 11 points behind league leaders Marlow and hope to return to action with a home game against Highworth Town this Saturday (3pm).
Their AM Print & Copy Floodlit Cup quarter-final at Ardley United has been rearranged for next Tuesday.
