SCOTT WILSON continued his superb goalscoring form to earn Yate a well deserved point at league leaders Hungerford.
Although the draw dropped the Bluebells out of the play-off places and ended their record breaking winning streak of nine games, they extended their unbeaten league run to 14 games, which started with a 4-2 win over Hungerford in November.
The home side went in front on 24 minutes after Luke Brewer was brought down in the penalty area by Harley Purnell and Mark Draycott stepped up to convert from the spot.
However, Yate fought back well and equalised in first half injury time when Wilson beat the offside trap and headed in from close range after being set up by Matt Groves.
Hungerford went closest to winning it in the second half when Brewer’s fierce shot struck the post, while goalkeeper Lubos Ancin saved well from Brewer and Ben Pugh.
Danny Wring had Yate’s best chance but he fired over the bar.
