Rockleaze Rangers 1 Kingswood 3

ROCKLEAZE RANGERS have sunk further into trouble after a defeat at home by Kingswood.

Rangers were unlucky in the seventh minute when Ed Freeman’s header came back off the crossbar with visitors keeper Chris Fox well beaten.

All the goals came in the first 45 minutes. The first arrived after 29 minutes from Kingswood’s Jim Crossfield finished from eight yards from a free kick hit into the Rangers box.

A second for the visitors came on 34 minutes when Neil Simons was adjudged to have handled in the box and Lee Williams duly obliged from the penalty spot.

A 25-yard cross-shot from Charlie Read two minutes later deceived the home keeper and the ball flew into the net.

Otis Wilson pulled a goal back for Rangers from a goalmouth scramble right on half-time.

Rangers had most of the possession in the second half and might have scored again but for a sound goalkeeping performance from Fox.
