VETERAN Dursley centre-back Keith Thomas has hung up his boots at the age of 46 due to persistent knee trouble.
The eldest of club stalwart Bern Thomas’ four sons to have played for Town, he made over 700 senior appearances for the club.
The defender had been playing with the third team, although he was a regular member of the club’s reserve team, then in Stroud One, as recently as 2012.
His retirement leaves first-team midfielder Lee as the only one of Thomas brothers to still be in regular action for Dursley.
