Dursley Vixens 4 Lydney 0
HOLLY COOK grabbed the headlines, scoring all four Dursley goals in a comprehensive victory, but a majority of the side seemed to have decided that this was the day to put in their best shifts for the club.
Linzi Moulder read the game well at the back and showed much more composure, linking well with Karis Longden, who found space at will and provided the link to the midfield.
Ellie Towler covered every blade of the astro as usual, and Chloe Macgregor had an excellent game through the middle, distributing the ball wide to Pip Spyvee and Pip Hickey on left and right flanks respectively.
They subsequently made excellent runs down the wing before making a number of pin point crosses to the on fire Cook and Maddy Tuck who, despite taking up some terrific positions around the park, was unable to get the reward of a goal.
Goalkeeper Olivia Davies made a couple of good saves when called upon, as Dursley stayed determined to keep a clean sheet to round off their best all-round performance of the season.
