GLOUCESTERSHIRE captain Michael Klinger could miss the start of the season after earning a spot in the player pool for the Indian Premier League.
The 33-year-old has a reserve price of 10million Indian Rupees – almost £100,000 – and will be among 514 players up for auction in Bengalaru on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Klinger, who played for Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011, is playing for one of the 72 available spots and would miss Gloucestershire’s first nine games if he is snapped up by one of the eight franchises.
