TYTHERINGTON based middle distance athlete Dan Studley has been selected to run for England today at the Armagh 5k international road race, winning his fourth England vest.
The Armagh International in Northern Ireland has gained recognition as the premier road race in Europe.
The fast multi-lap course in the town centre often provides a number of the fastest 5k times each year.
A formidable line up of athletes are entered - including national teams from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Poland and England.
The race contains 50 athletes who have run sub 15 minutes for 5K.
At the same event last year Studley ran a 5k personal best of 14.30, which was the third quickest U23 time in Great Britian in 2013.
