HALLEN will attempt to travel to West Auckland Town for their FA Vase fifth round tie again this Saturday.
The Western League Premier Division side were due to fly to Durham last weekend and lost their fares after the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
West Auckland are third in the Northern Football League and favourites to progress to the quarter-finals according to Hallen boss Jamie Hillman.
“We’re big underdogs but I know our lads will give it 100 per cent and if they do that, they’ll give themselves a fighting chance,” he said.
“This is probably the biggest game of my career and that applies to pretty much all of us. I was assistant to Jamie Patch at Backwell in 2005 when we reached the same fifth round of the Vase when Stourbridge beat us 2-1 at our place.
“I know from that experience what a massive occasion it is when you reach this stage.”
