Western League Premier Division
Hallen 1 Larkhall Athletic 1
HALLEN became only the second team this season to take points off title favourites Larkhall Athletic on Saturday.
Having been the last two Toolstation League clubs to be knocked out of the FA Vase a week earlier, it was fitting that their league meeting should end all square.
Visitors Larkhall looked the better of the two sides early on and deserved to be in front after a classy move down the left was finished by Tyler Sibbick for the opening goal.
With neither side managing to get the upper hand a red card for Ben Horan following an off the ball incident on the hour reduced Larkhall to ten men and gave Hallen the incentive to push further forward and net the equaliser through Ricky Charlton.
The ten men held firm and denied their hosts the maximum points to remain unbeaten.
