Hanham Athletic 4 Yate Town Reserves 2

HANHAM Athletic took a two-goal lead in the first 30 minutes against Yate Town Reserves.

Dean Gifford gave them the lead with a volley from the edge of the box on 12 minutes and Rob Burton increased that lead from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark.

Yate hit back with a Lewis Hughes strike on 35 minutes and levelled the score on 60 minutes with a goal from Joe Guest.

Jack Tottle then put Hanham back in front on 65 minutes and a further goal from James Shipman ten minutes from the end sealed the visitors' fate.

* The 0--0 draw at Henbury, where Chipping Sodbury Town were the visitors, saw very few chances.
