THIS has been another successful season for Tockington Manor School, who continue to flourish against the region's running clubs.

They are the only school competing as a club and it is a testimony to the hard work of the pupils and staff that they continue to win medals.

In the Gloucestershire League season held at Bourton-on-the Water, Cheltenham, Malvern and Gloucester, the under-11 girls team came second.

They fought hard to win their silver medal with Ellie Parker winning the individual bronze medal.

In the under-11 boys category Alex Grocott won all four events and became Gloucestershire League champion, winning the individual gold medal, while the team came third for bronze.

The under-13 girls team were 11th and the under-13 boys team fifth.
