TWO talented footballers from Winterbourne International Academy pupils could join Championship giants Blackburn Rovers.
Striker Olly Mehew has already completed a successful trial at the club, who are also having a look at goalkeeper Marcus Beauchamp this week.
Both are currently in the Bristol Rovers Academy and were part of the school’s Year 10 side that reached the final of the National Schools’ FA Cup and won the Woodcock Shield last year, which Mehew captained.
Mehew looked set to join Norwich in January before the deal stalled and has been scouted by several other clubs, while Beauchamp is believed to have also attracted interest from Premier League leaders Chelsea.
