AT THE third and final event in the Icebreaker Series at Wales’ National Velodrome in Newport, Berkeley-based cyclist Pfeiffer Georgi consolidated her position at the top of the under-14 girls’ category.
Her brother Etienne produced a solid performance, achieving seventh overall in the series and repeating his runner-up position to fellow Great Britain talent team member Rhys Britton in the hotly contested elimination race.
The siblings also raced under the floodlights at Cardiff’s outdoor cycle circuit in Maindy, producing a win for Year 8 Castle School student Pfeiffer, 13, in the combined under-14 and under-16 girls’ event and a second place for Etienne, 15, in the under-16 boys’ category.
Riding for Giant CC Halo Films, both displayed excellent cornering abilities on the tightly drawn circuit.
