FOR the second week in a row, Thornbury Broncos U12s walked away with silverware after successfully defending their title at the Broncos festival at Cooper's Farm.
The previous weekend saw the squad put in an impressive performance that also secured the Peter Pullin Cup at the St Brendan's tournament.
The entire squad contributed impressive performances to secure back-to-back successes.
In last two competitions they encountered some very physical teams, which they outplayed and frustrated in all areas of the park, and they were very clinical in attack and defence.
Ultimately the U12s didn’t concede any tries in either tournament, which is a massive achievement to bring their mini rugby careers to a close.
The U12s have recently produced some intensive, expansive performances, which bodes well as they progress into the junior section next season.
