THORNBURY played their final league game of the season on an overcast and cool evening against Yate United Colts.
After 11 minutes Kieran Perrett delivered a great cross from the right, which was met by an awesome volley from centre forward Adam Cain to put Thornbury ahead.
A searing solo run from Harley Fuidge three minutes before half-time saw Thornbury go two up.
Yate managed to pull one goal back but Thornbury dug deep and finished with a winning performance.
