FOREST Green boss Ady Pennock has recalled  on loan striker Jason Walker ahead of his  injury-hit side’s trip to champions Luton Town on Easter Monday.

The one-time Hatter has hit five goals in nine games for Skrill Premier rivals Southport, but has travelled with the rest of the squad this afternoon.

Saturday’s 2-2 draw at home to Woking, ruled out any scant hopes of a play-off place, but injuries to on loan Charlton midfielder Bradley Jordan, Dale Bennett, Marcus Kelly and Al Bangura’s red card have left the squad somewhat threadbare.

Chris Stokes (hamstring) Jamie Turley (hamstring) and Yan Klukowski (groin) are also on the treatment table.

Stokes and Klukowski will undergo fitness tests on Monday.

“ Our changing room is like a casualty ward,” revealed Pennock.

Pennock admitted he was set to name Academy striker Dan Martin on the bench against Woking, but Anthony Barry passed a late fitness test.

However, the 17-year-old, who has been on loan at Nailsworth neighbours Shortwood United, will be included in the squad to face Luton.

Pennock added: “Dan was due to be on the bench, but Anthony Barry declared himself fit late on “Dan has done well with the youth team and trained with us on Friday.

“I think he will be on the bench Monday and it will be a great experience for him and would like to give him a few minutes.”

Pennock insists Rovers will go to Luton aiming to spoil their title winning celebration.

“We’re looking forward to going to Luton and it will be a great experience for our players to play in front of a 10,000 capacity crowd.

"It will be a great occasion for Luton, but no way will be going to make up the numbers.”

Forest Green's play-off hopes ended after a fiesty draw with Woking.

Rovers took the lead againt the run of play when speedy  striker James Norwood danced past Woking keeper Sam Beasant to fizz in his 17th goal of the season after Lee Hughes pass beat the offside trap on 33 minutes.

Three minutes later Woking's Mark Ricketts saw red for a high lunge on Rovers' substitute Bradley Jordan, who hobbled off after trying to play on.

Woking held sway after the break and netted parity when John Goddard's corner was poorly cleared for Brett Johnson to rifle home on 69 minutes.

Sub Al Bangura saw red for Rovers just eight minutes later after persistent fouling brought the end to his short day.

The hosts went behind to  Goddard's 90th-minute finish after the outstanding Kevin Betsy had slipped past Jared Hodgkiss , but Lee Hughes nodded an equaliser in injury time from a Norwood assist.
