Football: Knight goal is enough to give Olveston win against Brimsham Green

Bristol Premier Combination Division One

Olveston United 1 Brimsham Green 0

OLVESTON struggled to find their best form against lowly Brimsham Green and had to rely on Matt Knight to secure both points for them when he scored direct from a free kick midway through the first half.

The hosts dominated the second half but failed to increase the score, missing several good chances.

However, this win still keeps Olveston in the hunt for promotion with three games left, all at home.

They entertain Brislington Cricketers this Saturday at Old Down with a 5pm kick off, with the reserves playing before hand at 2.30pm against Hillfields.
