THE opening round of the AMCA British Motocross Championship,powered by Datatag is being held at Tinkley Lane, Nympsfield on Sunday,May11.

The action runs from 11am-5.30pm.

Promoted by the Dursley MXC,in conjunction with AMCA, who are the largest controlling organisation for off-road motorcycle sport in the UK.

This national series provides racing over seven rounds,with riders competing in two classes,MX1 for bikes with an engine size greater than 250cc and MX2 for bikes with an engine size smaller than 249cc.

One of the leading racers will be Stroud- based Paul Neale, who goes in the MX2 class.

Admission charges are £5 for adults. Retired and children over 12 priced at £3 and U12s are allowed free entry.

Refreshments and motocross related retailers will be at the circuit.
