Bristol & District League round-up
WARMLEY Saints were relegated from the Senior Division after Wick Reserves' narrow 4-3 win against bottom side Nicholas Wanderers Reserves.
Wick knew only a win would keep them safe on the season’s final day and Rich Grinter duly stole the plaudits with a crucial hat-trick of goals in addition to a Joe Durcan strike to ensure the away side narrowly avoided the drop.
Hambrook’s brilliant return of 20 wins from 24 matches saw them crowned Division One title winners and they’re promoted to the Senior Division.
In Division Two, Lloyd Coalpit Heath’s relegation was confirmed after two defeats during the week.
Hambrook Reserves and Roman Glass St George A have both been consigned to Division Four for next year’s campaign.
