Gloucestershire Women's T20 League
Cam Ladies (148) beat Old Bristolians (138-8) by ten runs
CAM resumed their league fixtures on Sunday home to Old Bristolians.
Opening batters Lucy Johnstone and Charlie Pretty put on 24 before the former was bowled for 10.
Vicky Mansell joined Pretty but she was bowled first ball for nought.
Nicola Dickson (8) and Sarah Winget (10) made significant contributions but runs were very slow to come by.
Becky Woodward made a quick 18 before she was out for a very dubious lbw.
Youngsters Karis Longden and Isabel Tudor both impressed with the bat and steadily pushed up the run rate, Longden run out for 6 and Tudor 11.
Kiara Ford made an impressive 17 with some lovely shots before being bowled.
Old Bristolians were quick off the mark but their opener was caught by Pretty off Vicky Mansell (3-25) with the score on 16.
Rachel Evans then took the crease and she made her impact, but she had no partnerships as Cam fielded tight and took some great catches, Mansell taking three wickets.
