YATE-based youngster Max Hedger another outing in the minimoto championships at Rednal Karting in Shropshire.
He has switched from competing in the British Minimoto Championship to the National Championships due to all the riders dropping out of his class.
Hedger qualified sixth out of 20 and also had two races.
After a slow start in the first, he managed to get back up to seventh.
In race two he had a mechanical problem and was dead last at one point but managed to get his bike going again and end the race in 14th.
