CONNOR Clifford is the latest Yate Town player to be snapped up by local rivals Paulton Rovers.
The left back joins captain Mike Bryant and Tom Seery in making the move from Lodge Road to the newly-promoted Southern League Premier Division club this summer.
Former Plymouth Argyle youngster Clifford joined Yate from Bideford last November and became a regular member of the side.
Announcing the signing on his club’s website, Paulton boss Nick Bunyard said: "He's up at Hartpury College where he's training pretty much full-time, which we hope to benefit from, and he'll give us our first natural left back since Jack Allward.
“He's also another young lad with plenty of scope so me and Milse (Paul Milsom, assistant manager) look forward to working with him."
Meanwhile, Yate under-15s player Aaron Parsons has signed for Bristol City.
