ALMONDSBURY maintained their 50-point lead at the top of the table after a comfortable win over lowly Stoke Bishop.

After winning the toss and batting first, Almondsbury soon lost Andrew Parkinson (16), Matt Wood (19) and Greg Stephens for 16 but Liam Hartigan and Mike Perham added purpose to the innings, scoring 55 and 57 respectively.

Josh Slade came and went for a duck and it was left to Rich Wood and Aaron Jones to ensure the visitors set a competitive target.

Wood and Jones finished undefeated with 42 and 12 respectively.

Stoke Bishop soon lost Skipper Tenuwera for seven but Graham Emerson (41) and Dan Watkins (58) seemed to turn the game around for the home side. However, when they were out the game changed as Aaron Jones (12-1-38-3) and Josh Slade (12-3-36-5) between them dismissed the home side for

187, Parkinson's side their sixth victory of the season.
