A YOUNG scooter rider from Dursley teamed up with two-time world champion Dakota Schuetz to do the world’s first double tandem backflip on the same scooter in Cardiff.

Alfie Mann, six, received a surprise home visit from the American before joining him on part of his UK tour for Lucky Scooter Parts.

Schuetz presented Mann with some new wheels and the pair visited local skate parks around Wiltshire and Gloucestershire together.

Mann is second in the country at ScootSportGB in the under-eights and was given the opportunity due to his success.

His Mum, Emily Mann, said: “Scooting is his passion so to get a visit to his home was a dream come true.”
