YATE Town have clinched the signing of Andy Lewis from Cinderford Town.
Lewis has been training with the club since they returned in pre-season and impressed boss Rob Cousins when playing at centre-back in their first friendly against Swindon Town.
Midfielder Dale Evans, who also played Cinderford last season, and returning defender Tom Warren had already committed themselves to Yate but have officially completed their moves after putting pen to paper along with last season’s top scorer Lewis Haldane.
Yate continue their pre-season programme with a trip to Brislington on Thursday, followed by a home game against Bristol City under-21s on Saturday and a visit to Cadbury Heath next Wednesday.
