THE DFCA Bristol Youth Cricket League KO Cup Finals were played on a very warm and sunny day at The Park, excellently hosted by Frampton Cotterell.

Marshfield lifted the South West Glass U17s Cup by beating Thornbury Red by four wickets.

After Thornbury were bowled out for 106, Jeremy Bond scored 40 to lead Marshfield home.

Callum Burnstone was named player of the final for hitting 19 not out following a fine wicketkeeping performance, while Thornbury's Jack Gillett claimed the Achievement Award after taking 3-11 in his four overs.

Whitchurch retained the Don Brooks U17 Plate with a one-run win over Cam.

Player of the final Jake Dolbear scored 30 as Cam finished narrowly short on 93-9 after they restricted Whitchurch to 94-6.

Bedminster took the Urban Windows U15s Cup, overcoming Thornbury by eight wickets.

Harry Wormwell claimed the Achievement Award for scoring 41 in Thornbury's 112-4 and then taking 1-20 from four overs.

Bristol just edged past Winterbourne by four wickets to win the U11 Dave McCarthy Cup, chasing down their target of 108.
