GLOUCESTER have named their squad for the World Club Sevens at Twickenham.

The Cherry and Whites line up in Pool B against Cardiff Blues, a team they beat 24-14 in the Premiership Rugby 7s and the Blues' chief tormentor Steph Reynolds will line-up at Twickenham again.

Academy trio of fly-half Lloyd Evans, centre Charlie Norman and Ben Vellacott are included after strong showings in the domestic Sevens tournament as the Cherry and Whites target bettering last year's sixth place finish after a plate defeat to New York City 7s.

Experienced Sevens' duo Sam Showering and Rhodri McAtee will also continue for Gloucester Rugby after proving vital in retaining the Premiership Rugby 7s title.

Coach Olly Morgan has also secured the services of a number of experienced guest players who will don Cherry and White at Rugby HQ.

Iain Moody of Great Britain 7s and Samurai is involved as well as Ed Tellwright, an exciting winger who has represented England Student Sevens.

Josh Fowles represented Leicester Tigers during the Premiership Rugby 7s and will turn out in Cherry and White this weekend.

British Army duo Sailasa Vunivesilevu and Joshua Madigibuli provide power and flair alongside Ben Frankland, who appeared for London Welsh recently.

Gloucester start their campaign against Vodacom Blue Bulls on Saturday afternoon before taking on Cardiff Blues and Buenos Aires in Pool B.

The tournament will be shown live on BT Sport, the live coverage starts with the Cherry and Whites clash with the Blues at 3.05pm.
