FOREST Green Rovers Ladies chairman Craig Dexter has stood down for personal reasons.

Dexter has been chairman of the ladies team, who play their first team games at Slimbridge's Wisloe Road ground, for the last 13 years.

"Having been chairman for 13 years and seen the club grow to what we have today has been at times traumatic, but also an amazing experience.

"I feel now we have a committee, at both levels, capable of maintaining and pushing the club forward to even higher levels."

Forest Green Rovers Ladies would like to thank Craig for all he has done over the years and leaving them in such a healthy position.
