The Western League visitors roared back to hand Marine a stern examination of their cup credentials but Sam Warrell pulled off some important stops as they held on to claim a 1-0 preliminary round victory.

A depleted Winterbourne United side went out after a 5-2 defeat at Newport (IOW).
