Frampton-on-Severn (55) lost to Remarley (56-2) by eight wickets

WITH a depleted team once again, Frampton lost the toss and were asked to bat on a spongy wicket against Redmarley.

Losing the first wicket of Jack Edge (0) with just two on the board, Frampton’s day went downhill from there, losing Matt Cayless to a top edge off Sam Aston for nine.

Tom Warren was run out without facing a ball by Toby Dudfield, giving Frampton little chance of posting a challenging total.

Dan Halsey top-scored with 13 and was well supported by young Dillon Shepperd.

The last two wickets fell in quick succession, leaving Frampton on a lowly 55.

Frampton managed to take two Redmarley wickets before the visitors crossed the line in the seventh over.
