Avon Youth League Division Three U15s
Thornbury Town 3 Warmley Rangers 3
THORNBURY kicked off their new campaign with a battling home draw against Warmley Rangers.
The visitors were in control during the early phase of the match and were rewarded with a goal after Thornbury gave away a free kick on the edge of the penalty box, which was neatly dispatched into the back of the net.
Thornbury then started to get into the game and drew level after some neat passing allowed Louis Ogilvie to pull a goal back.
Town then took the lead when Ogilvie grabbed his second of the game with a great header.
The second half was a repeat of the first as Warmley were on top early in the half and they drew level after they were awarded a soft penalty.
The visitors then regained the lead after the home defence failed to clear the danger.
Back came Thornbury again and, after some more neat passing football, Felix Brittan despatched the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the box.
