Woodchester A sent visiting Thornbury A home pointless as Mark Farrow, Dave Lloyd and Martin Gunn all went unbeaten on the night but were somewhat flattered by the 10-0 scoreline.

Frampton A defeated Cirencester 9-1.

Bob Murray and Bill Dawe both scored maximums and two more for Steve Porter gave the home side a comfortable lead.

Ian Heskins scored a point for Ciren before Dawe and Porter closed out the evening with a doubles win.

Pessimists, with only two players this season, still managed a 6-4 win against visiting Thornbury C in Division Two with Barry Morgan winning two and Tim Chancellor all three.

Graham Eden won a single point for Thornbury.

Morgan and Chancellor sealed the victory for Pessimists with a doubles win.

Frampton B maintained their good start to the season, overcoming Forest Green B 7-3 at home.

Simon Philp again showed good form with three wins and was backed up by Dave Pearce (2) and Rob Munson (1).

Philp and Pearce won the doubles in four.

It was honours even when Cam A visited Forest Green C in Division Three.

Steve Partridge won two for Cam and Brian McNeil and Paul Stewart won one apiece. Partridge and Stewart claimed a doubles win to earn a 5-5 draw. Randwick B also drew when they entertained Frampton C.

Brian Cullis and Gerry Dupree each bagged two wins and then won the doubles for Frampton.

In Division Four Forest Green D played host to Frampton D and all the players got a result on the score card.

Pete Seville was best on the night for Frampton with a maximum and was supported by Chris Philp with two and one from Laurie Hobbs in their 6-4 win.

Randwick C travelled to Cam C with only two players but came away with five points.

Stephen Heaven was on good form for Cam, winning both his sets to leave the match score at 5-5.
