SOUTHMEAD CS Athletic gained a good victory over Kingswood.
The home side had much the better of the play in the first 45 minutes.
They took the lead on 24 minutes when Luke Coghlan sent a great ball through to Kane Simpson, who shrugged off several challenges before slotting the ball in the bottom left corner.
Later in the half Simpson struck the upright and a tremendous shot from Luke Coghlan struck the crossbar.
Kingswood put up more of a showing in the second half, but in the 70th minute the home side brought on John Kilpatrick and within three minutes he was put through on goal by Luke Bayford before firing his shot into the top corner.
