WOTTON Jaguars dominated the first half and went ahead when a slick move involving Ash Lloyd and Sam Greatorex fed Blake Hewer to slot in.

Lloyd then added a second before half-time following a great clearance from goalkeeper Joe Field but Wotton missed numerous chances to add to their lead.

The second half was fairly comfortable with the defence of Chas Thomas, Tris Reeves, Oz Adams and Ash Bishop dealing with any Warmley attack before Lloyd added his second, after missing a penalty, and then an own goal completed the scoreline.

MOM: Ash Lloyd and Seb Culpepper.

THIS top of the table tussle saw Wotton tie at Whitchurch.

The home side scored first, then Wotton levelled following a fine run by Eddie Hawkins and a tap-in by Corbin Walker.

Whitchurch responded vigorously. However, Matthew Welch, Denny Phillips and Hayden Brewer absorbed the pressure in midfield, and Sam Backx, Jonney Hayward, Denny Philips and the ever-reliable Sam Morris held firm, before Hawkins netted Wotton’s second and then their third.

Hawkins got his hat-trick after the break and Harrison Brain and Tom Cranwell came close, but Whitchurch responded forcefully, netting three rapid goals before the end of this tough match.
