SHARPNESS AFC are gearing up for the new season in the Northern Senior League by starting training and appointing a new man at the helm.
Phil Orsborn, who has managed at Berkeley Town and with Forest Green Rovers Ladies side in the past, has become the new manager at Sharpness.
And club secretary Jamie Thomas said: “We are really happy to have Phil on board. We are just looking to keep going from last year.
“We want to maintain what we have done so far at the club and hopefully we can lead on to something better.”
The squad get back together on Tuesday evening at around 6.30pm onwards and any new players who like to give it a try at the club are more than welcome.
Meanwhile, Sharpness are looking for people to fill managerial positions with their teams that play in Stroud League system.
