COTSWOLD Edge Golf Club held their Finals Day with golfers from all sections taking part in their respective knock-out finals after qualifying throughout the summer.
Shot of the day went to Kev Curtis who scored a hole in one on the seventh while the battle for the Tom Turley went to the 37th hole. The men competed over two rounds (36 holes) while Ladies and Juniors did battle over 18.
Finals Day winners: Scratch Matchplay: Matt Jagucki won against Chris Young 9 & 8. Tom Turley: Sean Fryer won on the 37th against Colin Durber. Darville Plate: Willie Cruickshank won against Simon Read 8 & 7. Campbell Cup: John Newns won 2 up against Roy Hirst
Merry Vase: Mel Lee won two up against Ali Buncher.
Anna Blackler Trophy: Ginny Peach won against Jan Pemberton-James 5 & 3. Harris Cup: Lynda Pearce won against Ali Buncher 4 & 3. Bronze Trophy: Julie Cruickshank won 3 & 2 against Jan Pemberton-James. Thistle Knockout: Alex Godfree won against Tarragon Newcombe 2 & 1. Summer Mixed Knockout: John and Jane Barrett won 3 & 2 against Kev Curtis & Lynda Pearce.
