NOVEMBER saw the last races of the year for 15 year old Cole Edwards from Charfield.

It has been a challenging year for the local teenager, disrupted by a change of chassis early in the season and a change of class from Juniors to Seniors during the year.

Coles Junior results were being hampered by his continuing increase in weight and the last minute decision to take the big jump to Seniors in August was a big gamble. However Cole stepped up to the plate achieving first, second and third places in his first few races.

The final round at Clay Pigeon Raceway in Dorchester saw Edwards take third place on a grid of 20 experienced drivers with him being by far the youngest entrant.

Dunkeswell in Devon was the setting for the last round of the 2015 championship.

The weather conditions had been shockingly bad for Saturday practice and therefore proved challenging for race day on the Sunday.

With another 20 strong grid, Edwards qualified in sixth for the final bringing it home in fourth place. An excellent result in only his fifth race in the Senior class.
