IT was a chilly but bright morning for the latest round of the Western Time Trials Association Hardrider Series on the 25 mile U72 course from Maismore to Ledbury.

Riders struggled uphill into a headwind on the way out but had the wind in their backs on the return.

Five Dursley riders took part with Graham Davies finishing seventh overall in 59mins 51secs and taking second place in the V40 category.

Russell Peace came in at 21st place in a time of one hour 03:21mins, while John Sirett was over the line in one hour 07.10mins for 36th place.

Steve White was 40th over all in a time of one hour 07:51mins, while and Dan Morgan did not finish the time trials due to a mechanical problem with his bike.

The Western Time Trials Association Hardrider Series at Ledbury saw a good field of 61 riders take part. The winner of the event was Ben Anstie, of the 72 Degrees bicycle team.
