TWO rugby union legends will be holding court at the Tortworth Court Hotel on July 15 to raise funds for a local school’s tour.
Castle School, Thornbury, will benefit from the proceeds of a Sportsman’s Dinner which will see the captain of the 1975 British and Irish Lions, Willie John McBride, and World Cup final referee Ed Morrison speaking.
The school are raising funds for their rugby team’s tour to South Africa and tickets for the event cost £60 or £550 for a table of ten. They are available from Wayne Underwood on 07730 899324 or Dave Baines on 07552 053118.
