IN division four Rob Fry scored a splendid 66 without a spare at the usually unforgiving Cam Sports Club alley for the Elites as they had an away win over the Undesirables. Pete Mack had the only spare of the match for his 62 for the home side.

The Hammers won their first game of the season helped by a last leg spare their anchor Dave Cheal which changed a four pin deficit to a six pin win.

Rob Marrow had the top score for the Fizz Kids with 53.

In division five starting strongly Rockhampton Rams took the honours in their local derby against the Fielders.

Cheryl Freeston had the only spare of the game in her 53 for the Rams while Paul Hunt scored a good 59 without a spare for the Fielders.

Chaos took an early lead when they visited the Pheasant Pluckers, however the home side fought back to within two pins by the seventh leg.

However, Chaos hung on for the win with Nora Mears scoring a good 59 while Neil Timbrell was the best of the home side with 62.

In division six, a dramatic last leg spare by setter Ken Denton turned the game for the Jolly Mariners who got a home win over Sharpness Playmates, his counterpart Nadine Hewer had a good 57 for the Playmates The Vixens had three 16 spares on their way to an away win over the Munch Bunch at the Swan, Wotton.

Judi Shield top scored with 65 but Brian Tovey continued his good form on his home alley with 66 without a spare for the Munch Bunch.
