IN division four, an exciting game saw a 69 third leg give the Undesirables a narrow lead over the Oddbods.
However they replied with the same in the fourth leg and even a 15 spare in the seventh leg from Malcolm Jones couldn't get the Undesirables noses back in front.
Steve Perret scored a good 68 anchoring for the Oddbods.
The Bangers were two pins behind after four legs at home against Barclay's League when Jenny Lovell had back-to-back spares in her 53 helping the Bangers to a narrow win.
Pete Hayes was the best of Barclays League with a solid 54 In division five, back-to-back spares from anchor Neil Evans gave the Astonians an early lead and a 15 spare by Dave Thomas sealed the win over the Hopefuls.
Gilly Stook finished with a flourish with a 12 spare in her 56 for the Hopefuls.
The Pheasant Pluckers scored an away win with a sparkling 344 at the Dockers Club.
Mark Brain and Neil Sharp, at the bottom of the board, scored 51 which was key to the win.
