Cheltenham Civil Service 1

Kingswood 1

CHELTENHAM Civil Service and Kingswood had to be satisfied with a point each after a 1-1 draw at Tewksbury Road.

The home side had the ball in the Kingswood net on 3 minutes but it was disallowed for hand-ball.

An Adam Loveridge shot on 12 minutes tested Kingswood keeper Chris Fox.

It was the home side doing the pushing and Fox had to be at his best to deny both Burrows and Loveridge.

Two efforts from the visitors Ryan Mudd and Simon Clarke came to nothing.

Kingswood’s Callum Vickery went clear on goal but home keeper Tim Griffiths was there to deny the striker.

The home side went ahead on 43 minutes when Leigh Rayson had his shot well saved by Fox but the ball ran out to Dan Keating to avoid a tackle and fire home from just inside the box.

Several incidents in the second half with both sides picking up bookings and then a great move from Burrows Keating and Loveridge saw the ball in the back of the net but ruled out for offside.

Kingswood levelled the score on 66 minute after a home attack broke down the ball was moved forward quickly and Callum Vickery slotted the ball past Tim Griffiths.
