Cotswold Edge Golf Club Report
AUTUMN has certainly arrived at Cotswold Edge Golf Club with fallen leaves providing an extra hazard.
This didn’t deter the members and the November Medal was well sup - ported.
Division 1: Keith Stokes nett 72, Mark Harris 74 & Richard Rogers 74
Division 2: Dave Smith 72, John Downes 72 & Mike Covell 73
Division 3: Keith Williams 77, Mike Harvey 77 & Alan Johnson 78.
THE SUN shone on the Midweek Medal which saw some good under par scores returned and rewarded Jack Pearce with a 3 shot handicap cut.
Results: Jack Pearce nett 65, Graham Woodlands 69 & Russell Betts 70.
Judy Green took the honours in the ladies Irons Only Competition with 32 stableford points followed by Jane Rowell 29 & Mel Lee 28.
The ladies came together to celebrate the end of the season with a team competition, where partners are drawn, followed by a meal.
Results: Mel Lee, Julie Reynolds & Lita Hayward 75 points, Debbie Pringle, Angela Ryan & Alison Ancrum 74 & Anne Crawley, Sandra Cutts & Janet Malone 71.
There was a good turn out for the odds/evens team competition where one score counts on the odd holes and two scores on the evens.
Results: Jane Barrett, Gill Polley & Anne Crawley 105 points, Sandra Cutts & Catherine Beale 109 and Caroline Stokes, Sue Freeland & Lyn Smart 111.
