In division four In a close finish at Synwell Club the match between the Bangers and Not A Clue was tied after 7 legs however the home side finished the stronger with anchor Trevor Tiley finishing with a 14 spare flourish.

Stan Andrews his first spare of the season for the visitors in his 48. The Hammers kept the top of the table exciting with a home win over the leaders the Elites.

A solid team performance was led by a good 61 without a spare from Abbie Burrow and a vital strong start from Dave Cheal in his 55. Anthony Griffiths was the pick of the Elites with back to back 9's in his 58.

In division five Chaos made it 7 wins out of 7 when they had a comfortable away win over the Astonians at the Tudor Arms. Setter Dot Bennet had her top score of the season with 59 while Chris Norris had the only spare of the match in her 54. Neil Evans finished well for his 53 for the Astonians.

In division six The Casuals made it two home wins on the trot when they eased past league rivals the Ladybirds. Mandy Evans had top score with 59 while Ruth Stump had their only spare. Tina Lees had her top score of the season starting with a 13 spare on the way to 60 for the Ladybirds. Coaley Moles picked up their first points of 2017 with a straight forward win over the Casuals. The highlight was a 60 pin 7th leg including spares from Marion Blackhall and Darren Howard.
